Lightroom 5.7.1 crashing with mobile sync turned on

hi all,

 

using windows 10 pc lightroom 5.7.1, ipad 3 lr mobile , when turn on mobile sync lightroom consistently crashes. if turn off mobile sync, lightroom stable.

 

i've ran checkdisk on c:/ drive , should be. there no missing photos , not appear corrupt. out of 1483 photos in collection i'm trying sync lr mobile, 160 have appeared ion ipad. lr starts sync process crashes within 1-2 mins.

 

help!!

  • at point crash, example, "i select file menu> import , opens import dialog , crashes when press x. "?
    • by way can upgrade lr 6.
  • what location of catalog.
  • when did start happen ?
  • do have external drives connected computer ?

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
