Adobe Reader is not working

since upgrading, i've had nothing issues adobe reader.  every time open file, work literally second, freeze , i'll (not responding) message @ top of program.  program freeze , i'll have force shut.  there no updates on version , i've hit repair.  i'm running on windows 10.  please help!

could please tell version of reader?

i recommend download cleaner tool uninstall reader .

download adobe reader , acrobat cleaner tool - adobe labs

 

once uninstalled,please refer following link reinstall reader.

https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
