Can't ftp to remote server even though connection tests successfully

i'm setting site in dw cc 2014 , set local site testing server (using .php mamp pro) , setting remote server web host.( in past have done edits in dw , used transmit ftp) copied settings transmit , copied them dw remote server settings , got successful test. created test file , clicked "put" file doesn't show on remote server. hovering mouse on put indicates dw putting test file in test server, local site. want go remote server. clicked on disconnect testing server thinking might force go remote server didn't work. doing wrong?

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!! (if have installed arm , delete it, will, on "check updates nothing or common update error ) you nonsense: acrobat updates have been disabled system policy.   error: 100700 if installer ...
