crashing on import video to layers

hi, i'm running latest photoshop cc on maxed out 2014 retina imac, latest osx.

 

i'm trying import video file layers. every time import it crashes. lets me play half of clip before crashing, crashes it's loaded. it's small 70mb 5d2 file.

 

i have tred google can't seem find exact symptoms.

 

anybody got or work-arounds?

please try , reset photoshop preferences default.

 

steps:

to re-create preferences files photoshop, start application while holding down ctrl+alt+shift (windows) or command+option+shift (mac os). then, click yes message, "delete adobe photoshop settings file?"

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
