PDF text missing or only showing specific characters. Is there a patch? This only began after the new version recently.

my pdfs have been doing while editing them reason. specific time, not working text, happened scrolling. pdf saves , exiting not fix it.

hi premium_signs,

 

open acrobat, navigate menu "repair installation". check updates, if please install.

relaunch acrobat after system restart & try replicate issue.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
