Problem convert PDF to image file using either export or save as

i trying convert powerpoint slides high-quality image files. based on suggestions, covert ppt pdf first no problem. quality well. tried covert pdf file image tiff. looked fine in process. chose tiff format , destination saved. problem did not create new image files no warning signs. did not matter if used export or save us. used acrobat 9 pro on windows 7.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
