Why can't I update Bridge CC or Photoshop 6. Keep getting error messages

when try update previous versions of bridge cc (error-cannot extract files) , photoshop6, i'm told retry.  it's been 3 months.  how live chat person help?

could please provide screenshot of error message. lot resolution.
