Elements 11 doesn't recognize device (Cannon Rebel 300D) on Windows 7 64 bit.

elements 11 doesn't recognize device (cannon rebel 300d) on windows 7, 64bit system. adobe says device driver not needed, windows can't find drivers automatically, not except driver came on eos digital solution disk. windows device manager recognizes camera when turned on.

appreciate help.

is camera showing in devices section on windows machine?

if not, may still import same connecting camera card using card reader/slot , in elements organizer, click ctrl+g launch adobe photo downloader.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
