FULL SCREEN PREVIEW WITH SPACE-BAR INTERMITTANT/BUGGY.Ref. Bridge CS6/5.0.2.4: - REPOST

i've been using space-bar full screen preview years, & thousands of times no problems whatsoever.

 

suddenly became intermittent, works "normally", other times have tap space bar several times before works---sometimes takes "a few" taps, half dozen or more; same behavior clicking "view / full screen preview.  once "clicked"/ initiated program locks-up until either multiple, subsequent tries acquire full screen, or ctrl./alt/delete "cancels" it.

 

tried: different keyboards ,- purging cache,-tried settings in preferences/ advanced, - totally cleared preferences on start-up, - & finally, reinstalled cs6 complete- no avail!!!

 

the other reverences on forum mac's.

 

it's hard believe i'm win / cs6 user having problem!!!

please reset bridge preferences , try it.

 

steps

start adobe bridge , press ctrl+alt+shift (windows) or command+option+shift (mac os) until reset settings dialog box appears.

select 3 options--reset preferences, reset standard workspaces, , purge entire thumbnail cache--and click ok.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
