Re-installing CS 5.5 as an upgrade of CS2. Won't accept both old serial number as the new CS2 (without online activation) serial.

so did:

- installed windows 7 on old pc

- installed new indesign cs 2 installation file (without online activation) : https://helpx.adobe.com/nl/creative-suite/kb/cs2-product-downloads.html

- installed upgrade 5.5 bought last year

 

no problem after entering cs 5.5 serial, asked enter type , serial of old product bought upgrade for.

when (indesign cs 2 part of complete cs 2 premium package) installer won't accept both original serial number on box or new serial number [serial number removed moderator]

btw, upgrade works fine on other pc, remember there als problems during installation. (got adobe helpdesk/phone)

 

please me out!

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
