Add images without cutting soundtrack

i completed project , wanted add image. when add image noticed sound track cut or there

is space between sound track. how can add image without cutting soundtrack?

are working premiere elements 13/13.1 , windows 10 64 bit? remember seeing premiere elements 13/13.1 in other thread, not seeing computer operating system.

 

but, assuming windows now....

 

hold down alt key of computer main keyboard add import existing timeline content.

 

the more complex timeline content more problems can encountered. depending on circumstances, 1 maneuver apply group bunch of clips keep them during 1 of these additions more complicated existing timeline content.

 

but easier case setup, alt key technique mentioned should help.

 

please let know outcome schedule permits.
