Cannot access Tools > Add-on Tools within IE Plug-In

i have add-on tool (folder level javascript) can no longer access since upgrading adobe reader dc.  if open file in desktop version of reader dc, can click tools > add-on tools , works great.  have need use in-browser plugin , cannot seem access add-on tools since there no "tools" tab @ top. i've searched on preferences , toolbar menu's cannot seem find solution.  appreciated.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
