Importing images in Lightroom CC.

hi, im new lightroom , want import images cf card lightroom, however, 2 things have happened , i'm confused. open lightroom, main page opens , have row of menus left , right of main viewing panel, far! insert card card reader instead of loading lightroom loads in pictures on imac same happening in macbook pro, how turn off images open in lightroom please. new apple if please in touch, have head injury please make instructions simple informative possible. thank you

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
