Locked layers selected setting HELP!?!?!

hi wondering if can help.

i updated id cloud, have latest version idcc2015.

can tell me if have changed selections settings in past not allow select layer if locked.... crazy reason

this has changed or being idiot , need edit setting????

i took screen grab show nicely what's going on.

you have 1 layer, , isn't locked. objects on locked layers cannot selected, selection of locked objects on unlocked layers preference item. prefer able select them can lock position, still add or edit content.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
