Photoshop CS4 - No Print Dialog

good afternoon everyone,

 

i work @ school district computer technician , having issue print dialog not appear when try print photoshop document. sometime error show saying there no printer installed when in fact there multiple installed on computer. other times, there no error @ , doesn't allow print. solution able find switch default printers in windows, 1 of suggestions found adobe themselves. not acceptable solution because have multiple students logging machines , default printer , printer installs handled login script. printing used work flawlessly before , things used be. things have done eliminate possibilities:

• tried deleting preference file
• not issue related epson printers since not use epson based printers
  • we use konica minolta , hp printers
  • we installed new drivers , replaced drivers in room
• tried switching between "printer handles color printing" , "photoshop handles color printing" in printing options
• was able work local printer (adobe pdf or pdf creator) use network printers in our district , use pdf printers convert files
• have tried reinstalling program completely
• have tried making brand new image scrap (os, software, registry changes, gp edits, etc.....)

 

any related issue grateful. please let me know if there should try haven't done before.

would suggest go file menu in photoshop > press , hold spacebar key > choose print

this reset print preferences photoshop.
