why can i use Acrobat Reader from 2006 to print PDFs?

i have purchased cs2 in 2006 , use software's no trouble.  when need print doc pdf using acrobat reader asked pay monthly subscription fee able make pdf's. believe have paid reader professional cs2 pack.

any advise?

could please specify os ?

with acrobat reader assume reader dc , not older version.

reader never paid software.

it s free software meant view pdf' only.

however print pdf' reader.

if still on cs2 ,i sorry such older version , not support anymore.
