after updating from windows 8.1 to windows 10, problems printing pdf drawings - pop up window now shows "flattening", and stops at 97% but does not print. Is there a fix ?

after updating windows 10 windows 8.1 , have problems printing pdf drawings - when trying print, pop window shows "flattening", , stops @ 97% not print.

i have uninstalled hp printer driver, , reinstalled, ensuring have latest updates. have uninstalled adobe reader x1, , installed adobe reader dc.

pdf text documents print ok.

this problem did not exist windows 8.0 or 8.1

 

is there fix ?

open acrobat reader dc, navigate menu "repair installation". check updates, if please install.

navigate edit menu -> preferences -> security(enhanced)-> un-check protected view.

re-launch acrobat reader dc & try print.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
