How to resize Elements on screen?

i have been running elements 12 on on imac (osx 10.9.5) couple of years.  since yesterday, when open program, top , bottom of elements window appears underneath top , bottom edges of monitor screen (about inch seems covered in both cases).  , since corner "pull" thing hidden edge of monitor screen, can't readjust size (though can make wider , narrower).  it's stuck in position.  means can't use now-hidden search bar, huge problem me.  i've tried opening , closing program several times, same thing happens.  know how can fix this?

sorry, forgot mention happens when open organizer.  editor window opens in correct position.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
