Web App item save and submit functions is it possible?

i creating web app want user able save without triggering workflow, come , edit content , save again if required when complete submit initiates workflow , submitted web app can checked.

 

this used course assignments can submitted online.

one way this, use webform/update-details-form collect , save data, can keep coming , updating form, you'll need put sar=false on form action if want stop autoresponder, , can set workflow none on form in admin. thing note need use system fields or extended crm fields in webform can not use custom webform fields in update details form. note person needs logged in this.

next thing send them web app submit form (which should mirror of fields previous form) preload fields customer data , extended crm data, set fields read can't make changes, make 'final review' page, need hit submit button.
