mailto: hyperlink opens blank page on site?

created website in muse cc. on of pages have hyperlink mailto:. when open live site , click on hyperlink, along mail program, blank new page opens in site. if hit button goes home page. help!! (yes, newbie here)

you need show code.

 

by way, no 1 ever uses mailto longer. works if user has mail client set on computer, not case. people use php mail function.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
