Check which Context3DProfile is available (Away3D)

hello,

 

is there convenient way of checking if context3dprofile available? specifically, want instantiate away3d baseline_extended, if not available fall baseline. starling offers nice way of handling allowing array of profiles passed , automatically select first 1 available. seems there no such option in away3d 4.1.6 , furthermore attempts in catching error thrown away3d have failed. there way of testing in pure as3?

 

(on occasion add context3dprofile.unavailable nice test behavior on machine supports profiles. have no way of simulating unavailable profile on development machine)

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
