MAC 10.7.5 LightRoom 4.4 -- Weird grey "strips/blotches" on skin tones

shot large raw , on whole series of images random grey blotches , strips on skin tones.  not on raw file in camera nor if open in other editing programs. super weird.  few random images showing blotches, black, skin color, rendering shots unusable.  1 seen this?  i've restarted , run anti-virus programs, etc. help!

and since when have started facing issue ?

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
