Activation Issue - Won't find Version

i downloaded adobe acrobat pro xi account - when put in activation code says qualifying product cannot found , not give option xi. codes , account adobe xi - drop down menu pops not have xi pro option - license for.

you might installing upgrade version.

so, need enter serial number twice.

the first time, need enter serial number actual product , second time prompted enter serial number previous version had.

so, please enter previous version serial number @ second prompt.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
