I updated to Acrobat reader dc on a windows 10 pc, when downloading a pdf file the text is all broken up and even magnifying it is still difficult to read, I have tried re-installing with no difference. Any idea's!!!!!!!!!!

has idea how make downloaded files readable mine worse dot matrix on bad day?

please try following:

open reader

go edit > preferences > page display

under rendering pane

click on drop down smooth text

select 'for monitor' , click ok

close application

now open pdf
