Can´t see the captions

hi,

 

i´m new using captions , i´m having trouble see them. subtitle window pops , introduce text , starting/ending points. close it, drag sequence, , can´t see text.

 

after watching tutorial, i´ve realized had enable "closed captioning display" settings in tool icon. now, according tutorial, next step click on + button , add closed captioning display button menu. reason, can´t this, won´t let me. wonder if that´s reason why can´t see subtitles.

 

any idea of how solve this?

try this:

 

1. go file-> new-> captions...

2. click <ok> in "new captions" window, accepting whatever defaults there

3. picked cea-608 cc1 in second "new captions" dialog

4. in project area, double-click on new caption created

5. captions panel should open -- can use "+" button there add caption blocks caption

6. add 3 blocks -- aaaaa , bbbbb, cccccc

7. go project area , drag native caption item sequence

8. click wrench icon in both monitors , make sure "captions display" active, , "settings...": set 608 cc1

9. play caption clip in program monitor or double-click on caption file play in source

 

i see captions in both monitors, see them well?
