After latest update to Bridge CS6, when load pictures, the preview pane in the photo downloader panel doesn't show the images..just blue squares. I have a Mac desktop with El Captitan.

please reset bridge preferences , try it.

 

steps

start adobe bridge , press ctrl+alt+shift (windows) or command+option+shift (mac os) until reset settings dialog box appears.

select 3 options--reset preferences, reset standard workspaces, , purge entire thumbnail cache--and click ok.
