Importing GIFs animated in Photoshop into After Effects with transparency in the background

is possible? make life way easier while trying animate 8 bit characters project. i'd compose project multiple separate animations seen in tutorial.

 

 

if there other ways sprite animations, it'd appreciated.

probably best way import gif start in photoshop , export file image sequence. use tif or png.

 

the other option import psd used make gif composition retaining layer sizes , sequence layers.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
