Premier Pro keeps crashing when I try to run. it. I have deleted and re-downloaded it but it still happens. The rest of my Adobe programs work fine. Any thoughts?

first, basics ... os/cpu/ram/gpu/vram ... , specific version in numbers of prpro you're working with. that's helpful.

 

next ... depending on above, might necessary use adobe cc cleaner app tool

to uninstall prpro. suggest signing out of cc desktop app (if you're on cc, have been nice know) first, , use option wipe , preference files completely. download & install fresh copy ...

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
