Creative Cloud Won't Launch

hi there.

 

i went install creative cloud update today. during installation, creative cloud icon disappeared icon tray @ top of computer. when select list of apps, won't launch. had no luck re-installing fresh.

 

i don't have issues using ps or lr or (at least not have found yet), i'm not sure troubleshoot (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1915576?q=creative%20cloud%20won%27t%20launch) work.

 

i found answer on forum (creative cloud won't launch) when went create root user (using these directions here enabling , using "root" user in os x - apple support , 'edit' pencil grayed out in directory utility window (i click on 'active directory, ldapv3, , nis, didn't see option 'enable root user' anywhere, , when not clicked on 1 of 3 options, pencil/edit button grayed out/not clickable).

 

thank help. please point me in right direction if missed answer or troubleshoot somewhere. thank you.

* having exact same issue.* purchased brand new 27" 5k imac 4 ghz i7 quad-core cpu 4 gb graphics card, , 16 gb ram - , upgraded latest mac os el capitan 10.11.1 - , have yet been able have adobe cc visible menu bar.  have tried suggested in forums. have removed , reloaded adobe cc @ least 6 times if not more, , still no adobe cc icon in menu bar. <<< warning >>> not remove adobe apps if loaded [thinking clean install scratch solve problem- not, tried already, , lost adobe apps imac!], because may not able re-load them on until adobe cc app visible in menu bar. not sure occur month on 11th when apps must communicate adobe in order renewed. time tell. may communicating, , adobe cc icon may not displayed on imac. huge problem me - have been considering purchase copy of lightroom until issue can found - need have @ least lightroom , running projects. not if adobe or apple problem, does exist. please find solution!  thank you!
