How to change VOB file format without loss in quality and ballooning file size?
i'm trying save vob file on problematic dvd using premiere pro cc 2015. can please me selecting best export settings?
my aim keep quality , file size close original possible. need change file format can view on computer. works change extension vob mpeg in case i've edited (shortened) original file need save new.
most of output options i've tried either drastically reduce quality or enlarge output file size.
premiere gives me following source information:
type: mpeg movie
file size: 675.20 mb
image size: 360 x 288
frame rate: 25.00
source audio format: 48000 hz - compressed - stereo
project audio format: 48000 hz - 32 bit floating point - stereo
total duration: 00:59:22:02
pixel aspect ratio: 1.0940
avi, quality 100 gives file size of 12 gb. h.264 match source - high bitrate gives 2 gb file size. did data come from?
match sequence settings should obvious solution gives me larger file (706.98 mb) serious drop in quality.
if select h.264, match original image size , other settings close source can, resulting file size still larger unless drop bitrate. however, premiere doesn't show me source's bitrate set @ keep quality same?
i want same file in different format can view it. simple yet haven't been able find solution. can point me in right direction?
many thanks, bern
dv avi less compressed h.264. avi resize sd resolution (720x480). orginal file stamp size.
dont use match sequence settings (in cases use preview codec).
i go h.264 (mp4)
pick youtube preset , change hight , width match original.
