Actions - saving as a different version with a custom suffix

i have series of layered files. each one, need to:

 

• convert 8-bit (for of files, others 8-bit)
• reduce them 2000px on longest end
• save png (with background layer removed) -  with "_2000px" suffix on file name
• save jpeg (with background layer visible) - with "_500px" suffix on file name
• reduce them 500px on longest end
• save png (with background layer removed) -  with "_2000px" suffix on file name
• save jpeg (with background layer visible) - with "_500px" suffix on file name

 

can automate these steps:

 

1) 1 action

or

2) small series of actions can use depending on file/format?

 

the biggest hurdle suffix. know supposed able batch, every time run batch closes document. tried "create new document form current state" @ bottom of history panel, not create duplicate because batch closes both of them far can tell.

 

any ideas? thanks!

you need use 1 of image processors that. can save multiple image files , file types each image file processed. can name files way want. can include actions create in process. need no save steps , scripts may able resize images way you  want.
