CS6 Production Premium upgrade installation not accepting CS5.5 Production Premium serial number

when installing cs6, put in serial number, , says "this valid serial number, no qualifying product found on system" , asks serial number qualifying product. put in serial cs5.5 , tells me it's invalid.

 

both serials production premium, it's valid upgrade path. can do?

since open forum, not adobe support... need contact adobe staff help

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
