fade in or fade out clip audio

after reviewing articles , video how use audio transitions, have not been able apply basic operations, premiere pro (the latest cc 2015) not allow me drag audio transition - i.e., constant gain, effects panel timeline. have imported bunch of music mp3s , want export project audio. need apply exponential fade , constant gain, export. what's deal , doing wrong? should using 1 of other cc apps? thanks.

you need drag transition either start or end of clip on timeline in order apply it. if drag center of clip on timeline, see cursor change not allow drop it. while still holding mouse down, move cursor last frame of clip (to apply end fade, example) , see cursor change when eligible applied. release mouse.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
