Why does Premiere Pro show 'Media Pending' screen for a long time when loading up a project?

whenever open projects, premiere pro show media pending screen ages. in cases in can 10 mins before screen goes away? have tried cleaning media cache database , didn't help?

 

anyone have suggestions?

 

i running on 27" imac, 3.5 ghz intel core i7, 16 gb 1600 mhz ddr3, nvidia geforce gtx 780m 4096 mb if info needed. i'm running on thunderbolt g-speed studio xl not sure choke point in system is?

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
