Canvas freezes and won't let me move any components...

 

basically, when have few tabs open - nothing big in file size, canvas on 1 of tabs seems freeze - in that, can't select components, , if zoom in or out, nothing changes on canvas, zoom-level indicator shows canvas has zoomed in or out...

 

the way canvas behave again close , re-open document.

 

any clues?

first of all, update 19.1 (which gives cc 2015.1),

 

or try new illustrator gpu beta,

which bring 2015.1.2, seems solve of issues not solved patch/update, 19.1 (which gives cc 2015.1), should solve known issues not solved 19.0.1, supposed deal gpu issues , few others.

 

 

if 2015.1/19.1 not appear option, sign out , sign in creative cloud application. after 19.1 update should visible in creative cloud application.

 

 

failing that, may try toggling between gpu , cpu ctrl/cmd+e, or may try disabling gpu performance clicking rocket icon in app bar, or on top of menu bar, , deselecting gpu performance check box; may uncheck gpu performance in preferences.
