CP9 Text not showing in additional state view when published.

i have slide want show different text box depending on students quiz results.  have slide set show text response , character based on quiz results.  passing 1 works fine fail 1 show character not text response.  built text response using state view normal being passing text , second state being failure text.  i've tried text being part of smart shape passing text , text box inserted.  neither appear when preview project.

can post screenshot of actions , object states?

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
