Can't import photos from hard drive to LR CC 2015

all of sudden unable import photos of external hard drives lightroom cc 2015.  also, app sluggish.  in addition, app hangs tonight, , had use force quit.  no problems until evening.  using almost-new imac w/retina display.

please post exact error message while importing harddrive.

normally issue related permissions read/write harddrive

  • make sure destination box expanded (if using copy)

and should have read/write access external drive.

  • if not help

reset lightroom preferences after backing catalog resetting preferences in lightroom cc/6 | lightroom blog

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
