Why does AME say "Encoding is in progress" when it's not?

i every time encode more 1 file. after appears finished, try close ame, , this:

adobe_encoder_wut.jpg

i'm using ame cc 2015 on windows 7, , typically encoding no other apps open.

 

sometimes stops protesting, have insist on closing despite warning. encoded file appears unaffected either way, it's pain have go check out, , i'm concerned possible time lost if it's big job.

 

any help?

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
