How i can render a video, fast and with max resolution?

when wll render video, takes hour or more finish.. question is, how can fast? final file or preview. how can save!??

the speed of render depends on project, effects applied, source footage, output format , rendering engine used. since know nothing project or system or version of ae it's impossible tell if render time normal. if want save ram preview there option under composition menu providing have set output module properly.
