Save a file in its original format

i have many sound files in different formats (m4s, aiff, mp3, wave). when have edited these files in audition - how can save them in original formats (overwrite originals edited files)? if close them now, of these files saved als .wav.

you use 'save as' , pick original format. word of warning in order far heavily compressed formats go - when open, say, mp3 in audition it's decoded wav file. when resave mp3 has re-coded, , there's inevitably loss of quality when this. in case of low bit rate mp3 files, significant loss, well...

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
