Create a database (Excel or Access) for PDF to retrieve information to autofill specific field?


create database/spreadsheet vendor information.  when vendor name selected dropdown on pdf form, pdf access vendor specific information database.  each vendor, adjacent columns within database fill specific field on pdf form.  example:  address “vendor a” retrieved database , address field on pdf form filled in.  what’s best way of going doing this? 

 

i don’t have livecycle designer.

it's possible in pdf, not database. data needs placed in plain-text file (csv, txt, etc.) , either attached pdf file (the better option), or placed in pre-determined location on computer (requires more complex script installed on local machine). script used access data , populate drop-down , rest of fields when selection made in it.
