What's your favorite WordPress "all in one" box solution for small clients?

i'm curious suggest small perhaps mid size clients small site wish manage.

 

i'm leery handing keys of developing page on client. when best make strong structured template, restrict settings , styles , have nice long sit-down on do's , don'ts. hand on site , fine, changing word or two. others try shoehorn in images and/or have giant red blinking marquee text across front page within 24 hours.

 

i don't expect win them keep wp vanilla. based on client, tinymce seems appeal them if tweak out various default styles. if they're bit more skilled i'll toss on bootstrap short codes. after people start getting little scary.

 

i've been dealing system client had built using visual composer, , has tacked on things ultimate addons. sure enough wanted add in trivial functionality (tab lists animate in content different "stock" tab switcher does) , can't it. hire how want , i'm looking @ 1300 lines of hand written code guy stay within vc/ua world of compliance, updates of wp march on, vc/ua starting sorts of bugged , mess getting out of control.

 

at point want go old old school methods. hire web firm, let them handle it, please keep hands off , don't paint in corner system that's breaking more , more time goes on.

 

anyone found setup that? doesn't need wordpress, isn't custom (which system like)? may not feel blogging system being used cms, makes friendly create menus, attach pages, seo, insert image without being accidentally 5000px 35mb image on front page? like?

i didn't respond yesterday because cms custom, since no 1 else has responded yet, throw in 2 cents.

 

i offer simple, basic cms package inexpensive. isn't slick wordpress site, identical more expensive cms packages, more expensive features turned off.

 

one of clients needed web presence in china, purchased cheap cms package. 6 months later, business in china doing well, client upgraded cms. took me of 5 minutes activate more expensive features.

 

so if set client on wordpress site. later, if/when outgrow , want move them custom cms, migration becomes huge chore.
