Certain Tools in the Comment tool bar work and don't work such as Text Call Out. I got it to work one time and then later it wouldn't draw the box. It appears then when I finish clicking, it dissapears

having trouble using commenting tool on mac.  text call out, draw line, draw rectangle, draw circle not work. other tools work such free hand draw, text box, irregular shapes.  able text call out work earlier, won't stay on page.  can start draw it, when let go of click, disappears.  going on???  have comment feature enabled.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
