Got error on installation because of Visual C++ not being installed
hello - had hard time adobe pro every step of way. did install now, -while doing so- informed me msi installation not install visual c++ 2013, , try setup.exe. tried there, , got same message. forged ahead anyway, , installation completed. can open program, open file, , save email pdf (that far got, because after today's problems adobe, need vacation...). in event, there lots of thing on computer have name "visualc" in it, cannot believe don't have -though may not have right one.... running windows 10, , total newbie @ (though, far, has not been bad expected, except nothing in windows 7). windows 10 problem? there can do? , loss of functionality can expect? thank you.
"download , install latest microsoft visual c++ 2010 redistributable package (x64) microsoft website - www.microsoft.com".
after uninstalling both of these particular vc runtimes ( vc++ 2010 (x86) , (x64)), reinstall http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2019667. also, make sure install security update from: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999.
if above fails, rename caps folder caps-old..
note : might need uninstall , reinstall cc apps except adobe creative cloud app .
location :
c: > program files(x86) > common files > adobe.
inside adobe folder , can locate caps folder .
