My borrowed book will no longer open in ADE!

i have been using months ereader no problems.  when borrow book library , download/open in epub library's website, keeps asking me download ade again , again.  allow when go open ade, there not book there.  getting frustrated once worked , doesn't.  removed ade computer , reinstalled it.  have authorized it, set adobe id/password.  still, when go overdrive , library website, won't allow me borrow book ade.  suggestions going on appreciated.

try this: closed digital edition. rename digital edition folder example digital edition.alt , try download again.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
