Since the last update, my lightroom won't let me import any new images. help!

i have new macbook air , running yosemite. there no previous problems can't import new images catalog. ideas?

can please try following steps:

 

solution 1:

  • go lightroom > preferences(mac) or edit> preferences(windows)
  • click on general tab
  • uncheck “show ‘add photos’ screen” , restart lightroom

solution 2:

  • go lightroom > preferences(mac) or edit> preferences(windows)
  • click on performance
  • uncheck “use graphic processor” , restart lightroom

 

solution 3:

reset lightroom preferences holding the  shift + option (mac) or shift+alt (windows) while launching lightroom.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
