I am trying to attach a logo to my InDesign file and it is blurry, despite being 300 DPI.

i trying make flyer , attach logo, extremely blurry. i've tried resizing in photoshop , @ 300 dpi, it's extremely blurry.

three initial possibilities:

 

what "effective ppi" of image in indesign (look in layers panel) should around  250 300 printing?

if you've added pixels existing low res image (interpolation) in  photoshop, increases ppi make image blurry. need start high resolution image. increasing low res image 300ppi not improve it!

 

alternatively if high res, try changing view > display performance > high quality display. (if have display performance set lower view , image correct ppi.)

 

you "attach" image. don't attach place image. file > place...

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
