Problem with brushes. All my brushes now are of the "airbrush" type of brush

using photoshop cc2014
whenever use brush has splatter gun (like supposed happen if "airbrush" style brush selected) selecting or unselecting different brushes , or settings not change this.
this started happening few weeks ago , effects desktop machine (on editing done) brushes notebook still operate normal
resetting brush library nothing
anyone have suggestions?

check options bar

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
