LR 6.2 - "Import" function almost useless.

since getting in contact adobe raise complaint appears convoluted on web site, i'll try here. so, apologies rant, latest upgrade 6->6.2 has broken number of things working well.

 

adobe, on earth decided "idiot mode" required feature in product working well? workflow has not improved changes import facility, if anything, need lot more checking before importing. others have detailed flawed changes done import facility, won't repeat them.

 

if trying push people away products, making radical changes, appear doing well. @ least give people option select changes.

i totally agree you. posted comment on subject , went uninstalling lr 2015.2.1/6.2.1 (kwrap) , reinstalled 2015.1.1/ 6.1.1.

 

but dismay "don't import suspected duplicates" broken on 2015.1.1/6.1.1 release. @ least jpg images. have several, 10-20, jpgs keep trying import along new raw , jpg imgaes. these duplicate jpgs -2 added file name. have remove them catalog , disk.

 

sorry canceling subscription , going lr 5.7.1 , ps cs5 if don't smarten up.
