Old e-mail address as authorization that can't be changed

i've seen more people issue no solutions...

the situation is: our mac had new harddrive installed last september due issues, copied account details time machine backup, (no programs). today installed adobe digital editions it’s somehow authorized older version of adobe id, using old e-mail address no longer use , don’t have access or have password (it’s deleted), de-authorizing not option.

also can’t add new authorization can’t access e-reader authorized current e-mail address.

how can remove older authorization version of id?

  1. quick digital edition.
    2. navigate /users/<user name>/library/application support/adobe/digital editions , drag activation.dat file trash can. 
    3. open adobe digital editions , reauthorize using setup assistant.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
